Boomer Esiason is an absolute legend.
The former Pro Bowl quarterback was an MVP winner and Walton Payton Man of the Year Award recipient, and since retiring from the game, he’s transitioned to the media side of things. On top of being part of Inside the NFL, he headlines “Boomer and Gio”, a popular radio show in New York—if you haven’t seen it yet, the Skratch team played Pebble Beach with Boomer and Gio.
On this week’s episode of Vanity Index, Boomer stopped by for a chat with Chad Mumm and Wells Adams. He touched on picking up the game his rookie year, big-time money games, the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black, and a whole lot more.
He also told a story about playing against Wally Szczerbiak and taking all the strokes he could get.
You can listen to Vanity Index wherever you get your podcasts, or on the Skratch YouTube channel.
