Addie's Baddies: The Ladies of Creator Classic Showed Out

While the LPGA girlies are holding it down in NYC, some of our favorite golf girl personalities were standing on business at the Creator Classic, ahead of the Truist Championship at Philly Cricket. The third edition of the Creator Classic provided us with some different faces and a new mixed format—making it the perfect opportunity for new baddies to emerge—and my oh my, did they ever.

The ladies of the Creator Classic, aka Paige Spiranac, Claire Hogle, and Sabrina Andolpho were the stars of the show.

This year, there are three iterations of the creator-centered golf tournament. The first was held at The PLAYERS Championship where YouTuber Grant Horvat took the trophy, and Fat Perez took the baddie title. And later on this season, CC will head back down to Atlanta where it all started, at the TOUR Championship.

But right now let's talk about what went down in the city of brotherly love.

Personally, I love team golf. It always makes things interesting, especially when it's alternate shot.

This format set the ladies up for success because they were easily among the better golfers in the field.

“That format is so chaotic,” Spiranac said after the final putt was dropped. “We had three plugged lies in bunkers, a shot OB. I think this is way more fun. There was a range of emotions that you see us go through all the time; I prefer alt-shot to traditional stroke play."

She's right it's entertaining as hell! And while things were chaotic in terms of shots...Paige, Claire, and Sabrina were showing the boys how it's done.

This drive, but more importantly this tee pick up technique from Spiranac? Elite. She bodied the golf version of the bend and snap. 10/10 no notes.

Miss Andolpho from Golf Girl Games brought the heat with this insanely well-struck 3-wood from the first cut off the rough. The way the ball bounced on the green like a feather was a thing of absolute beauty.

We needed no reminder, but Claire Hogle let us all know that she's been that girl. The former college golfer had her moments, too, often bailing out her teammates after errant shots.

Sure the all boys team of Team Richards ultimately took the crown, but this Creator Classic was definitely for the girls—and I hope to see more in the next field in ATL.
