You must do two things right to make a putt: line up correctly and hit your ball at the correct speed. The folks at Titleist know they can't hit putts for you, but they're gonna do everything in their power to make sure you're lined up correctly with the help of the new AIM 360 alignment pattern, available on the AVX and Tour Soft models.
"Player feedback is at the core of everything we do in product development, and we saw a growing interest in various alignment aids and cues printed directly on the golf ball from the dedicated golfer," Frederick Waddell, Titleist’s Director of Golf Ball Product Management said. "Our AIM lineup consists of three unique performance-oriented designs, all geared to help golfers set up and then start their golf ball on its intended line."
The design was developed after extensive player testing that demonstrated a noticeable improvement in player aim and consistency compared to standard alignment options, including the Titleist ProV1 side stamp. The results revealed up to a 35% improvement in left-to-right proximity
The R&D test results were extremely validating in showing that these products offer a distinct performance advantage in precision alignment," Waddell said. "They’re not just decorations.
The new AIM 360 is just one part of Titleist's growing list of options available to golfers looking to improve their putting alignment, which now includes more than 40 options available through custom order at Titleist.com
As for the newest AIM 360 AVX and Tour Soft golf balls, they are available now at golf shops worldwide and online.
For the golfer looking for a low-spin, piercing flight, soft feel, excellent greenside control, and more precise alignment when putting.
