By continuing to push forging technology and design refinements to meet the demands of better players, Mizuno’s newest collection of products including irons, wedges, putters, and golf balls is all about maximizing performance without compromising on feel.
CorTech with Contour Ellipse Face
For the new JPX 925 forged irons, Mizuno combines its Grain Flow Forging HD technology with 4120 Chromoly steel through the set to allow for thinner face construction leading to higher overall ball speeds and forgiveness.
The new ellipse face and construction of the longer irons creates greater overall stability on shots hit around the face, and required engineers to create an entirely different construction method to allow for the larger COR area.
Grain Flow Forged HD
Mizuno’s grain flow forged HD process used in the construction of the JPX 925 Forged irons, S-3 irons, T-1 and T-3 wedges ensures that from the hosel to the body of the irons, the grain structure of the metal is highly condensed and aligned to deliver a pure soft feel.
Quad Cut and Hydroflow Micro Grooves
The grooves of the T-1 and T-3 wedges have been cut to the legal limit, and have been spaced to optimize spin performance based on loft. This means deeper and tighter grooves on the stronger lofted wedges more often used for full swings, and wider shallower grooves on higher lofted wedges for increased spin around the greens.
The additional Hydroflow micro grooves help channel extra moisture away from the impact area to generate more consistent spin in wet conditions and from the rough.
332 Axial Flow Dimples
Part of the design package of the new Mizuno Pro golf ball is a dimple pattern designed to improve aerodynamics to create a more stable and penetrating ball flight that is easier to control in windy conditions.
JPX925 Forged
A stronger lofted technology packed forged iron designed to offer higher ball speed performance in the longer irons while still delivering feel and control through the set and into the scoring clubs. This is possible thanks to the soft yet strong 4120 Chromoly steel used in the longer irons and 1025E used in the shorter scoring clubs.
A new triple cut sole geometry also gives designers the ability to position the center of gravity lower and farther back away from the face like they would with a wider sole iron, but still allowing it to be efficient through the turf.
For the first time on release, the JPX925 will be available in two finishes—satin chrome, and a glare-reducing forged black.
The JPX 925 Forged are priced at $200 per club in satin chrome and $215 in forged black.
Mizuno Pro S-3
As “Mizuno” as a Mizuno iron can be.
This straight muscle cavity iron is one piece forged from pure 1025E steel and is designed to offer the utmost feel and control. A new triple cut sole also ensure better turf interaction through the strike.
“The Mizuno Pro S-3 irons embody the heritage of why so many professionals and accomplished players have fallen in love with Mizuno," Chris Voshall, Product Director Mizuno Golf said. "Designed with only two objectives, feel and control, the Mizuno Pro S-3 will raise the bar for those demanding the ultimate in precision and feedback.”
The S-3 irons are priced at $200 each.
Mizuno Pro T-1 Wedges
The T-1 wedges offer a compact teardrop profile with a lower heel and straighter leading edge for improved alignment. These blade style grain flow forged HD wedges come in six different sole grinds which vary depending on loft to help golfers find the right fit their swing, and short game style.
The T-1 wedges also come in three distinct finishes—blue ion, black ion, and soft white satin chrome.
Mizuno Pro T-3 Wedges
The T-3 wedges feature all of the same technology advantages of the T-1 but with a slightly longer blade length and shallow cavity for extra stability, ball speed retention, and forgiveness. The T-3s come in three different sole grinds which vary through the lofts.
The T-3 wedges also come in a soft white satin chrome finish to reduce glare.
T-1 and T-3 wedges are priced at $180 each.
M-Craft X Putters
With the newest extension of the M-Craft putter line, Mizuno designers focused on blending manufacturing craftsmanship with more expansive fitting options to create a collection of putters to help golfers gain more control on the greens.
The line offers a total of nine putters comprised of a combination of three neck and three body styles, on top of two sole weight configurations for an even more precise personalization.
As for the grip and the headcover, a cool acknowledgement of Mizuno’s heritage is the modern 1906 mosaic pattern featured on both—a nod to the year Mizuno was founded.
Priced $400 for standard build and $450 in longer counterbalance build.
Mizuno Pro Golf Balls
For 2025, Mizuno is updating their premium urethane golf ball options with the Mizuno Pro S and X models.
The S is for golfers who prefer the softest feeling option and want lower spin, while the X is for golfers still want a soft feel, but would benefit from slightly more spin for control. Both models take advantage of a 12% thinner cover layer and 6% thicker mantle layer to generate more ball speed and improved impact feedback.
Priced at $48 per dozen.
Preorder for the JPX 925 Forged and S-3 irons starts January 23rd, and are scheduled to be in stores February 6th. Preorder for the T-1 and T-3 wedges starts on February 6th with an in-shop date of February 20th. As for the new Mizuno Pro golf balls, they will be in stores starting January 22nd.
