Baffler Is Back! With An All New Combo Set From Cobra

It was 50 years ago that Cobra Golf introduced the original Baffler, a wooden-headed (yes, seriously, wood) hybrid with a heavy brass sole-plate and rails to lower the center of gravity and help the club glide through the turf.

The design was revolutionary then and to this day, the priciples of that design still shine true - with the exception that they're aren't too many wooden clubs on the markey any more. Which is exactly why Cobra is bringing Baffler back with the introduction of of the "all-in-on" Baffler combo set, available in both mens and womens configurations.

2025 Baffler Combo Sets

The new Baffler sets are designed to offer the best performance available to mid & higher handicap golfers who are looking for forgiveness, extra distance, and easy height.

Each club in the set borrows inspiration from existing Cobra designs and mixes everything into one cohesive set to help with create consistent feel and distance gapping from the longest through to the shortest clubs.

We built the BAFFLER combo set to help golfers enjoy every swing. Cobra is proud to offer the first combo set that features five unique constructions, providing golfers with effortless distance and easy playability.

Men's Baffler Set ($800 in steel and $900 in graphite):

Hybrids: 4H at 21 degrees & 5H at 24 degrees Hybrid-Irons: 6i at 26 degrees & 7i at 29 degrees Hollow Irons: 8i at 34 degrees & 9i at 39 degrees Cavity Back Iron: pitching wedge at 44 degrees

The gap wedge & wand wedges are available through custom order as add-ons to the set.

Women's Baffler Set ($900 in graphite):

Hybrids: 5H at 24 degrees & 6H at 26 degrees Hybrid-Iron: 7i at 29 degrees Hollow Irons: 8i at 34 degrees & 9i at 39 degrees Cavity Back Iron: Pitching wedge at 44 degrees Cavity Back Wedge: Sand wedge at 56 degrees*
