How Do You Make Great Irons Better? Black Them Out Of Course

If we've learned anything from equipment companies, it's that one great way to juice up a not-so-new club release is to give them a cool new finish!

I could sit here all day and tell you why I think dark finished irons are cooler than their chrome counterparts, but the real answer is simple—because they just are. It's no different from why an Audi Avant Wagon is way cooler than a standard A6 - it's just clearly a better option.

This is exactly why Srixon is offering a Black Chrome finish on their popular Zxi7 and Zxi5 irons, because it looks cool, gives golfers another finish option, and is part of a larger blackout collection that features bags and accessories.

It also helps that offering up a unique finish option in the second year of a product's lifecycle is a great way to reintroduce it to new buyers - but that doesn't takeaway from the cool factor!

The best part is, unlike the previously mentioned Audi Avant, these irons aren't going to cost anything close to $100000, in fact, the Zxi7 and Zxi5 sets will run you just $1,600. That's only $200 more than the standard chrome, which feels like a pretty good deal considering they also come with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue Gunmetal shafts and Golf Pride MCC Grey Grip.

So you not only get irons with some extra swag, but you get all of the performance and feel of the already tour-proven Zxi7 and Zxi5 irons.

The modern golfer is looking for more than just performance, they want their equipment to reflect their style and individuality too. With the Black Chrome Irons, we’re delivering on both fronts. Players get the precision and feel trusted on tour, along with a finish that stands out in the bag.

As for the Srixon Blackout Collection, it features a full selection of bags, head covers, and hats to choose from.
