The putter market is full of options from classic blades to tech-packed mallets, and the PGA TOUR is the biggest showcase for the most popular models. What's even more interesting is that in 2025, only 5 companies in total took home PGA Tour titles and these are the most winning putters on tour.

With players like Scotty Scheffler and Rory McIlroy on staff, it should be no surprise that the TaylorMade Spider won a lot in 2025, but what should be noted is that it was also used by several non-TaylorMade athletes, including Shane Lowry, Nick Taylor, Brian Harman, and Chris Gotterup.

With so many options to choose from it’s no wonder Odyssey is one of the most popular putters from week to week on the PGA Tour. Even though they did have one win with a blade style putter, the rest of their wins were all with mallets with the No.7, Jailbird and Tuttle being the top choices.

When it comes to wins, Scotty Cameron putters were split almost 50/50 between blades vs mallets. The most popular blade was the Newport, while when it comes to mallets, the Phantom 5 head shape was the number one choice.

A major benefit of mallets vs. blades is the added forgiveness to go along with geometric alignment aids, and with some many neck styles to go along with the various head shapes, it’s easier than ever to find a mallet that works for your stroke.

Ping putters had a pretty steady win rate on the PGA Tour, with their Anser head shape still being the number one choice for winners. Those winners included Brian Campbell, Viktor Hovland (who actually used a mallet), and Ryan Fox who won like Brian Campbell win twice on the season.
