Golf at the highest level requires solid driving, and on the PGA TOUR, most players use every technology advantage to find improvements off the tee. But, for some players, newer isn't always better, or at least not as comfortable, which is why some players hold onto drivers for as long as possible or go back to certain models like a safety blanket.

This was on display a couple of weeks ago at the OneFlight Myrtle Beach Classic, where Brandt Snedeker won with a mixed bag of clubs that included a TaylorMade M2 from 2017. Then it happened again last week at the PGA Championship when Aaron Rai won using a TaylorMade M6, a model from 2019.
But with these older drivers in play, it begs the question of how these players can use them when it's well understood that drivers can get non-conforming, aka "hot", over time, so we break that down on this week's show.
