Fun fact: Did you know that Wilson has won more men's major championships than any other golf brand? Yep, it's true - 62 to be exact; although I don’t believe that number includes Pádraig Harrington’s recent U.S. Senior Open win.
They have been a staple in professional golf for decades and have always made top-notch irons (especially their forged players' models), but at one point floundered around for years with a very incoherent line of woods that never really stood out anywhere beyond the mid-tier category.
That is, until DynaPwr made its triumphant return in 2024.

Since then, Wilson’s DynaPwr drivers and fairway woods have been high-level performers, to the point where I believe the 2025 DynaPwr Carbon fairway woods deserve a lot more attention than they currently garner, which is exactly why I can’t stop thinking about them.

The DynaPWR Carbon series is built around maximizing speed and forgiveness. When it comes to the Carbon driver, the front and back weights can be flipped to dial in spin, while the Carbon fairway utilizes a 30-gram tungsten weight positioned in the sole closer to the face to promote a strong ball flight with lower launch and spin.

Also as far as fitting is concerned, the 6-way adjustable hosel makes it easy to properly gap for ball speed, spin, and of course, distance. And, (at least for right-handers) the Carbon comes in every possible loft up to 7-wood; 13.5 / 15 / 16.5 / 18 / 21, and all come with adjustable hosels for good measure - that can’t be said for all manufacturers and their higher lofted woods.

When you factor in the cost of new gear and take into account that branding (as much as we hate to admit) still plays a massive role in how we percieve a product, Wilson’s DynaPWR line flys way under the radar.
As a gear observer, the only thing I truly care about is how a golf club performs because at impact, a launch monitor and a golf ball don’t know the difference between one brand and the next. Sure looks, sound, and feel still play a part too, but the DynaPWR Carbon looks the part and when tested on a launch monitor stands up against everything else I’ve tested this year both for pure distance as well as forgiveness.
So if you’re looking for a fairway wood that provides great performance, clean looks, a full technology package, adjustability, and top level value, I suggest you look no further than the Wilson DynaPWR Carbon.
