Winning the PGA Championship requires strong driving, accurate ball striking, and a rock-solid putter. Of the last 10 PGA Championship winners, one notable fact when it comes to putters is that 6 of the ten winners have used blade putters, whereas on the PGA Tour, the majority of winners use mallets. The clear outlier of them all is the heel-shafted blade Phil Mickelson used when he won the PGA back in 2021. It's still the last time a heel shafted blade was used to win an event on the PGA TOUR Schedule.
