Traditional isn't a word that most people would use to describe a L.A.B. Golf putter. Instead, some might say odd, spaceship, weird, funky, but no matter what you call them, you can't argue that their putters have made a massive dent in the golf industry, and made a lot of money out on the professional tours.
But since its founding, L.A.B. has never rested on its laurels, and after much teasing out on the professional tours, they are officially ready to release the traditionally untraditional OZ.1i HS (HS for heel shafted).
Lie Angle Balance is so much more than where the shaft goes into the head, and golfers are going to feel that when they try OZ.1i HS. It looks a lot like a traditional putter, but it performs like a L.A.B. This is a huge step toward our mission of helping every golfer putt better.
L.A.B. Golf CEO Sam Hahn
Aluminum Riser Hosel
Rather than the shaft going directly into the head like the standard OZ.1i, the new HS model utilizes an aluminium riser hosel out of the heel to align the shaft with the properly fitted lie to maintain the lie angle balance L.A.B. putters are known for. Each riser comes in ten different lie angle configurations from 65-74 and helps the putter achieve a more traditional look from address.
Designing a heel-shafted putter that stays balanced to the lie angle presented us with a unique challenge. The result is our custom, proprietary aluminum riser, a key feature of the OZ.1i HS that lets us offer multiple lie angles without compromising the signature feel and balance golfers expect from every L.A.B. putter.

Steel Face Insert
To help add mass to the head and properly balance the putter, the OZ.1i HS, like the original OZ.1i uses a steel insert to help add ball speed and achieve a solid, crisp feel at impact for consistent distance control.
Almost Endless Customization
Between the 8 color options, plus the multiple topline and flange alignment choices, you can make your OZ.1i HS your very own through L.A.B's expansive custom program, which also includes grip and shaft choices for an additional cost.
The OZ.1i HS is now available in stock configurations or can be custom ordered at labgolf.com or through authorized retailers. Stock models are priced at $500, and custom putters start at $600. You can head over to LABGolf.com to start building your custom putter today
