A few weeks ago at the Memorial, hosted by none other than Jack Nicklaus, Scottie Scheffler did something that he's become pretty accustomed to over the last two years, and that is to win on a difficult golf course. This marked the 9th straight time in his career, dating back to the 2023 WM Phoenix Open, that Scheffler has closed out a tournament after having or sharing the 54-hole lead, and also marks his 12th victory since switching to his now famous TaylorMade L-Neck Spider putter.
Scheffler is a player that has remained relatively consistent with what's in his bag each week. Knowing and trusting your gear setup as intimately as the pros do is a huge advantage in playing reliable and confident golf like Scheffler does. But Scheffler isn't the only pro golfer who's caught the Spider putter bug. The TaylorMade Spider putter family has amassed 20 wins on the PGA Tour in the last two seasons. Yes, ten of those are Scottie's and five came from Rory McIlroy, but it's an impressive stat nonetheless.
On the LPGA Tour, Haeran Ryu used it en route to winning the Black Desert Championship and Nelly Korda's second-place finish at the U.S. Women's Open also came after she switched back to her old faithful TaylorMade Spider Putter.
