A ferry ride from downtown Manhattan dropped me into New Jersey, where the Badlands pop-up was buzzing with friends, music, and the first full look at the Sugarloaf Social Club x Pluto collab. Not your typical Sugarloaf drop, this one stretched the brand in new directions, showing just how far SSC’s world can go when paired with Pluto’s edge.

The standout? Without question, the Space Jacket. A rain shell built with sharp lines and a cosmic color story, it was getting plenty of love on social that night. Right next to it sat the collab’s footwear, sleek, versatile, and surprisingly wearable both on and off course, arguably the most talked-about piece in the room.
