Paris Hilinski Leads Off-White’s Dive Into Golf

From vision to fairway: Paris Hilinski redefines golf style with Off-White

Off-White has long been a beacon of boundary-pushing creativity, reshaping the intersection of fashion, culture, and art under the visionary leadership of the late Virgil Abloh. Renowned for its iconic arrow graphics, industrial aesthetics, and fearless approach to reimagining tradition, the brand has become a cultural force. Setting the standard for how streetwear would transform high fashion expectations, Off-White’s graphics were the cure to overly streamlined collections making luxury feel carbon-copy.

With a reputation for taking the road less traveled to inspire us to think differently about the possibilities of design, style and personal expression, Off-White’s first golf-specific collection is exactly what the sport needs right now. In a world too often defined by its rigid framework of traditions and unwillingness to look ahead, this is more than a capsule of ready-to-wear golf apparel and accessories—it’s a cultural moment.

At the heart of this collaboration is Paris Hilinski, a rising star in professional golf who brings her own boundary-breaking energy to the partnership. The 21-year-old currently plays on the Ladies European Tour and has a long history with Off-White. She became known for creating custom Off-White pieces to incorporate into her on-course look that eventually caught the brand’s attention, leading to a Creative Director role. As someone who has consistently challenged convention, Paris embodies the Off-White ethos of authenticity and innovation. To Paris, a golf bag isn’t just a vessel to carry her golf clubs, it’s an opportunity to create a fuller, more intentional expression of her style every time she tees it up.

Building on Off-White’s nearly 12 years of disrupting the fashion industry, Paris’ “All in One” golf capsule collection is a celebration of how far the sport has come. A visual representation of the game welcoming new perspectives and its player embracing the opportunity to foster creativity on and off the course. It’s a beautiful reminder that golf isn’t just a game; it’s a platform for self-expression, inclusivity, and reinvention.

Here's what you need to know about Off-White's first golf collection in 5 questions with Paris Hilinski.

The Legacy of Virgil Abloh in Golf

Off-White is deeply rooted in Virgil Abloh’s visionary approach to merging art, culture, and fashion. How did his ethos inspire your vision for this collection, and what emotions did you feel carrying his legacy into a sport that’s so personal to you?

"For me, the use of graphics was essential. Virgil wasn’t just a designer in my eyes, he was a visionary and community builder. I think many people saw him in the same light. His graphics meant something to people, if you had a tee with an arrow on the back you were automatically a part of this incredible community. This was a huge part of my life, so having a version of the arrows on the back was extremely important to me. I think Virgil also had a great sense of when to push the line and when to stay on it. The line has men's and women's pieces, but really, all the men's pieces are unisex! I’ve worn them all! One thing we talked a lot about was how being a woman in golf was a minority, so how could we break through that barrier? Making all the pieces wearable for women, I think, was also a big point for me when first starting on designs! Throughout the whole process, I expected to feel sadness knowing Virgil wouldn’t experience this, but instead, I felt an urge of motivation and empowerment more than ever to make this come to life and to continue spreading his legacy so that the next generation can rise even higher!"

Breaking Boundaries in Golf Style

Golf has traditionally been steeped in classic fashion and traditions. As the lead creative behind this collection, how did you approach blending Off-White’s boundary-pushing aesthetic with the heritage and functionality of golf?

"Function was the base of everything. I repeatedly mentioned it to V, and he always agreed it had to be functional for the best of the best. Obviously, playing professionally and having clothes I could compete in was a huge factor in what fabrics were chosen along with the actual designs. I think people who know me immediately thought I was going to approach this by just making everything streetwear-driven, like baggy cargos and oversized jerseys. I wanted to keep an element of the golf aesthetic because, at the end of the day, I still have massive respect for the game and its history. I wanted to have a good mix of pieces you could wear out any day or night, along with more golf-focused pieces."

Empowering the Next Generation

Your journey in golf and fashion has been anything but conventional. What message do you hope this collaboration sends to young athletes and creatives who want to redefine what’s possible within their industries?

"It's definitely been a crazy journey thus far! I think this collaboration shows that nothing is too crazy. I think something huge I took from V was that you have the ability to do anything, so stop talking about it and just do it. I think sometimes, as young athletes and even creatives, our voices feel drowned out because we don't have years of experience, and the people at the top don’t always welcome change or new ideas. I’ve always been someone who never really felt like they fit in anywhere, whether it was school, fancy events, normal family get-togethers, or, honestly, even golf. Virgil was able to give me a community of people who were like me, people who didn’t fit into one box. He empowered me to do things differently the way I wanted to do them and I hope I can continue to do the same for others!"

Personal Growth Through Creativity

As both a golfer and a creative, how has leading this project with Off-White challenged or transformed you personally, and what have you discovered about yourself through this journey?

"It was definitely a challenge! Trying to play professional golf while juggling all of this was a test for sure but I feel like I’ve grown so much since I first connected with Virgil. I’ve gotten to know such an incredible community of people over the last few years because of V and this collaboration who have completely transformed who I am as a human being. Being able to connect with so many different communities and cultures has been such an incredible way to learn and grow. I couldn't be more grateful for this whole journey."

Defining the Future of Golf Style

With this collection, you’re redefining the narrative of what golf style can look like. What do you envision as the future of golf fashion, and how do you see Off-White’s influence shaping that evolution?

"I think we’ll continue to see more self expression through the way people dress on the golf course. We’re already starting to see it on the amateur side of golf and I think we’ll start seeing it on the professional side as well. I believe Off-White can help influence a new wave of people who are creatives and visionaries themselves to get into golf, which in turn will help spread this throughout the sport even more. I’m extremely excited to see how people take this collaboration and turn it into their own and continue to spread Virgil’s love and legacy throughout their own communities!"
