For the first time this season, Rory McIlroy will tee it up on the PGA TOUR—and he’s doing it as a defending champion.
Last year, the Northern Irishman dominated along the cliffs of the Monterey Peninsula, claiming his first win of 2025 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Now, after a few starts across the pond to start the year, McIlroy is back stateside hoping to go back-to-back.

Thanks to its elevated status as a Signature event, the Pro-Am’s field is loaded. Joining McIlroy will be World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay, Ludvig Aberg, Jordan Spieth, and Collin Morikawa, among others.
Come Sunday afternoon, the winner will receive $3.6 million of the $20 million purse and 700 FedExCup points.
