After his final round at THE PLAYERS, Rory McIlroy told the media he wasn’t sure if he’d play again before the Masters—the first round is 24 days away. When asked about TGL’s playoffs, he also wasn’t willing to commit.
Well, it looks like he’s good to go.
His status at TPC Sawgrass was up in the air due to a back injury—he wasn’t on property until Wednesday afternoon—but he got through all four rounds unscathed. Now, he’s set to play for Boston Common in its semi-finals match against Jupiter Links at 9 p.m. ET Tuesday night on ESPN.

Outside of McIlroy, you may notice Tiger Woods isn't in the lineup for Jupiter Links.
We've been waiting to see if the 15-time major champion would play at some point this season, but it looks like that won't happen. He continues to tease a potential Masters appearance, but now it seems that if he does play in the year's first major, it'll be without a warm-up event. But who knows, maybe he'll add a PGA TOUR or PGA TOUR Champions stop at the last minute.
The last time we saw Jupiter Links, Tom Kim sent the golf world into a frenzy with his hole-in-one—I’m still glad Tiger didn’t get hurt in the celebration.
With McIlroy in the mix, I’d expect more fireworks at the SoFi Center.
