Jason Day garnered a lot of attention this week in anticipation of his scripting from Malbon Golf, but there are plenty of guys that bring their Sunday best to Augusta National Golf Club for the Masters.
Cam Smith showed just that Wednesday morning.
On the final day of preparation for the year’s first major championship, Smith was rocking a suit jacket on the range and in the short-game area. And before you ask, yes, you can swing in this jawn. Its makeup of 45% nylon, 40% cotton, and 15% elastane makes for the sweat wickin' golf shirt of suit jackets.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone wear something like this on a golf course before, let alone one of the best players in the world. (At least not in the last half century) But I guess there’s a first time for everything. If you look closely, you can see the jacket features the logo of Smtih’s LIV Golf team, Ripper GC. Smith and his squad are outfitted by Greyson, so if you like this look you can rock it too.
In eight career starts at the Masters, the Aussie has finished inside the top-10 five times including a tie for second in 2020 at the November edition.
Can he swing in that? Yes. It's 45% Nylon, 40% Cotton, and 15% Elastane. Not your father's wool blazer.
