Saddle up for a wild weekend in the desert, golf fans.

After a fun week out in the Bay, the LPGA Tour has touched down in Arizona for the third iteration of the Ford Championship—and the field is pretty epic.

The four-day, 72-hole competition is being contested at the stunning Whirlwind Golf Club in Phoenix, where the 144-players field with compete for a $2.25 million purse. And this week's field features some special guests.

Six-time LPGA winner and big sister Nelly, Jessica Korda is making her regular season LPGA debut and her first event back since 2023! The 33-year-old had initially taken time away from golf to rehab a back injury, and then subsequently announced her pregnancy, which led her to a maternity leave period of two years. And even while she was navigating the early stages of motherhood, Korda has been slowly working her way back to form.

Her official return came at the Grant Thornton Invitational back in December when she played in the event alongside Bud Cauley, but this marks her first regular season LPGA event in three years. She cited at GTI that she expected her return would come around Mid-March, and she's a woman of her word.

There are two other familiar, veteran faces teeing it up this week in Lexi Thompson and Lizette Salas. Thompson is fresh off of her wedding celebration, meanwhile Salas is making her first start since 2024 after being sidelined due to a back injury.

All eyes will be on defending champion Hyo Joo Kim who is fresh of her win at Founders Cup. The 30-year-old held off Nelly Korda late on Sunday to capture her eighth career title, and moved up to fourth in the Rolex World Rankings. Kim is also joined by 22 of the top 25 in the world rankings.

The Ford Championship will be yet another strong showcase for the up and comers, as 24 of the 28 LPGA 2026 Rookies are in the field, along with two sponsor invites in Asterisk Talley, one of the top amateurs in the world and the 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur winner and Epson Tour player Carla Bernat Escuder.

Needless to say...we've got a jam-packed week ahead of us, with plenty of players to watch. Happy viewing!!!
