We're sending well wishes to Charley Hull after learning that she has withdrawn from the Evian Championship due to an unknown illness.
It was a scary scene during the Brit's opening round, with reports saying that she collapsed twice. The first instance occurred after she was seen sitting down by a bunker on the third hole, shortly after Hull collapsed on the fourth tee. The Golf Channel reported that Hull took a 15-minute medical break before collapsing again. She was then carted off on a medical cart.
The LPGA has issues a statement regarding Hull's decision to withdraw, but have not stated what the illness is.
Hull, still in search of her first major championship win, placed T-12 in her last two starts on the LPGA, both major championships, and finished fourth last week at the KPMG Women's Irish Open.
We hope that it's nothing too serious and that we'll see Hull again before the next major—the AIG Women's Open at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club.
