You probably know Charlie Day from one of the greatest comedies of all time, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. If you’ve never seen it, first of all, are you living under a rock? But you’re also lucky, you get to watch it for the first time.
Trust me, you won’t be able to turn it off once you dive in.
But what you probably don’t know is that Day is a stick. The man can golf his ball.
The man who plays Charlie Kelly on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (along with writing and producing on the show) stopped by this week’s episode of Skratch’s Vanity Index Podcast to chat with Chad Mumm and Wells Adams about gambling on the course, playing golf in Scotland, shooting his career-best score, and trying out college baseball.
But he also told an all-time story about teeing off in front of the legendary Joe Pesci.
Talk about taking advantage of an opportunity.
If you’ve yet to listen to the Vanity Index podcast, it’s worth a listen.
Mumm and Adams dive into their favorite golf stories, talk with some of the biggest celebrities who also love this crazy game, and take you behind the scenes of everyone’s favorite golf reality show, Full Swing.
You can listen to Vanity Index on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or watch on Skratch’s YouTube channel.
