The Augusta Municipal Golf Course, commonly known as The Patch, will reopen to the public on April 15 following a 16-month renovation led by Tom Fazio and Beau Welling. Some folks will get an early look in mid-March, including local community groups and high school teams, but everyone else will have to wait until after the Masters.
On top of the return of The Patch, Tiger Woods’ nine-hole short course, “The Loop”, will open its doors for the first time.

Originally announced in April 2023, The Patch Project was a partnership between Augusta Technical College, The First Tee of Augusta, and Masters Tournament Charities to bring more playing opportunities to the local community.
The practice area at The Patch also got an upgrade with a Trackman Range and 20 covered bays across 17 acres. Plus, the 12-hole putting course is free to use.
But the best part is that the pricing for locals is unbeatable. Monday through Thursday, it’s $25, and Friday through Sunday is $35. Tiger’s Loop will cost $15.
During this year’s Masters week, The Patch will be open for “private hospitality opportunities.”
