Lydia Ko, Charley Hull Headlining a new "Team World" for the 2025 International Crown

Teams for this year's International Crown are set—and the rosters are steep—especially for the newest addition, Team World. Meet the players competing in this year's Crown.

Mark your calendars for October 23-26, people!

The International Crown is back, and you're not going to want to miss out on one of the most premier events in women's golf. Team match play, four of the best players from each qualifying country, going head-to-head in Korea—it's going to epic!

There's nothing quite like it in golf. We know about the big three cups (Solheim, Ryder, and Presidents)—but the International Crown is a way to showcase the full global talent of the women's game while upping the ante.

Taking place over four days, it will feature three days of four-ball competition on Thursday to Saturday. The top two countries from each pool will advance to Sunday. Where two semifinal matches will be played Sunday morning. Each semifinal match will consist of two singles matches and one foursomes match. The winning semifinal countries will compete in the final match on Sunday afternoon. A third-place match will also take place between the two losing semifinal countries. Both the final match and the third-place match will be played in the same format as the semifinals.

Rosters for the eight teams have just been announced.

Nelly Korda will lead Team USA. Both the Australian and Japanese teams will have their two major winners front and center. And the new Team World, will debut it's star players in Lydia Ko, Charley Hull, Brooke Henderson, and Wei-Ling Hsu.

The qualifying athletes for the International Crown include the top 16 players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. The field also represents all five 2025 women’s major titles and 23 overall major titles, along with a combined 143 LPGA Tour victories. A total of 17 players have represented their countries at previous International Crowns, with 16 players having worn their national colors in the Olympics.

Rolex Rankings No. 3 Lydia Ko will lead the first World Team in the history of the International Crown.

“I’m excited. Obviously, I’ve never played the International Crown, so it’s going to be a new one for me. I love team formats and it’s kind of out of our comfort zone but I kind of love that,” Ko said. “I think it’s a great way to get to know my peers at the same time. For it to be in Korea, I think the fans are going to be very excited to see all of us there.”

The newly crowned world No.1 Jeeno Thitikul, who was on the winning Thai team in 2023, will lead her compatriots Chanettee Wannasaen , Ariya Jutanugarn, and Patty Tavatanakit.

With the exception of Wannasaen—this team knows how to win together, and pose a major threat to the strong Japanese team of Miyu Yamashita, Rio Takeda, Mao Saigo, and Ayaka Furue.
