What Drives Tommy Fleetwood?

When I’m feeling overwhelmed, when I have a little too much kicking around the ole noggin, I grab my keys—probably a soda, too—and just go for a ride. Whether the stress is from work, my tumultuous golf game, or the not-so-far-away holiday season, a little cruise down the backroads, listening to my favorite podcast, always seems to solve my problems.

And I’m not alone.

In partnership with our friends at BMW, Wells Adams, co-host of Skratch’s Vanity Index podcast, hopped in the car with Tommy Fleetwood ahead of this Friday’s Skins Game to chat about unwinding behind the wheel, his incredible 2025 campaign, and what it felt like to capture the hearts of American fans down the closing stretch of the PGA TOUR season.

"I have the luxury, especially towards the end of the season, where I get to stay at home. Like, you can drive to tournaments. And I do think getting in the car after a long day, sitting and driving, is a great way to unwind," Fleetwood told Adams.

The Skins Game: How to Watch

The Englishman will play against Xander Schauffele, Keegan Bradley, and Shane Lowry on Black Friday at Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, in the first playing of The Skins Game since 2008.

All coverage will be available on Prime Video starting at 9 a.m. ET, and each player will start with $1 million to their name. As skins are won, fans will be able to watch each account grow and fall, a fun wrinkle known as a “reverse purse.”

It's going to be a blast.

And even though Fleetwood told Adams “the trophies aren’t what do it for me. It’s the moments that do it for me,” I’m sure he’ll be pretty pleased if the first Skins Game trophy given out since 2008 is sitting on his mantel early next week.
