Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith Are Staying With LIV Golf

Despite being two of the four players eligible to utilize the PGA TOUR’s new “Returning Members Program,” Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith will be staying with LIV Golf.

"I made a decision to come here and I stand by it,” Smith said at LIV Golf's captains press conference on Tuesday.

"I’m not planning on going anywhere," Rahm said. "I wish Brooks the best, and as far as I’m concerned, I’m focused on my team and the league this year, and hopefully we can repeat as champions."

Brooks Koepka returned to the TOUR on Monday thanks to the RMP, but it came with a heavy financial penalty. He won’t see anything from the Player Equity Program for five years, nothing from the FedExCup bonus pool in 2026, and the TOUR requested a $5 million charitable donation.

Smith was eligible for the RMP thanks to his Open win at St. Andrews and PLAYERS title earlier that same year, while Rahm's win at Augusta in 2023 did the trick.

If something changes, they have until Feb. 2 to make a decision.
