The Field for the 2026 Scottish Open is Loaded

Next week, the golf world heads across the pond for a fortnight, and the fourteen day stint begins at the Renaissance Club for the Genesis Scottish Open.

The event is co-sanctioned by the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour, meaning LIV Golf members in good standing with the DPWT are eligible to play. So, when we’re all enjoying coffee golf next Thursday, we’ll be watching old friends like Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton.

But the TOUR’s best will also be in attendance, and that group includes the likes of World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, past champions Rory McIlroy, Chris Gotterup, Robert MacIntyre, and Xander Schauffele, as well as Justin Thomas, Viktor Hovland, and Wyndham Clark, among others.

The winner in North Berwick, Scotland, will head to Royal Birkdale with $1.62 million of the $9 million purse and 500 FedExCup points.
