The CBS broadcast team will look a little different when the Farmers Insurance Open rolls around in January—well, kind of.

Instead of walking stride-for-stride with the world’s best players, Colt Knost will move into the network’s Super Tower alongside Jim Nantz, Trevor Immelman, and Frank Nobilo. Knost joined CBS full-time in 2021 and has since been one of the best on-course reporters in the game.

“Colt has become a valued voice on our team, bringing insight, energy, and his engaging personality to every broadcast,” Harold Bryant, Executive Producer and Executive Vice President Production, CBS Sports, said in a statement. “Elevating him alongside Jim, Trevor, and Frank in our Super Tower is a natural next step that reflects the trust and respect he’s earned.”

The rest of the team will stay the same. Dottie Pepper will continue as CBS’ lead on-course voice, Mark Immelman will also be on the ground, and Amanda Balionis will handle interviews.
