Billy Horschel has never been scared to show his emotions on the golf course, and that trend continued on Friday during the second round of the Cognizant Classic when a fan chirped him after he hit a shot into the water on the par-3 15th, the first of three holes that make up PGA National’s famed Bear Trap.

His tee shot ended up long and left of the green, right up against the grandstand. After his ball found its watery grave, a fan was giving him an earful. Horschel turned around and let them hear it.
“Who said that? I mean, I guess you guys (inaudible) feel good about yourself with a comment like that, don’t ya?”
Horschel went on to make a triple-bogey six after taking a drop in the drop zone and two putting. Despite his struggles down the stretch in Palm Beach Gardens on Day 2, the proud Floridian is on track to be around for the weekend.
