After a major week outside Philadelphia, the PGA TOUR is back in the Lone Star State for THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch. Aaron Rai, the newly-crowned PGA champion, is no longer in the field after withdrawing—a well deserved week off.
However, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is back in McKinney, Texas, ready to defend his title. Over his last four starts, he’s finished runner-up three times and tied for 14th at Aronimink. Unsurprisingly, he’s the heavy betting favorite at +170—almost even money! That’s some prime Tiger Woods stuff right there.
Joining the Texan in the field are Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka, Tom Kim, who just qualified for the U.S. Open, Tony Finau, and Si Woo Kim, among others.
On Sunday, the winner will head home with $1.854 million of the $10.3 million purse and 500 FedExCup points.
If you’re planning on spending some time on the couch this weekend, here’s all the information you need to watch THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson.
