Everyone’s favorite player-caddie duo is getting back together—for one week only at THE PLAYERS.
Joel Dahmen and Geno Bonnalie, who parted ways in July of last year, will once again roam the fairways of TPC Sawgrass together, according to Skratch’s Dan Rapaport.
While Dahmen has cycled through a few loopers over the last eight months, Bonnalie has been on Isaiah Salinda’s bag full time. But Salinda failed to qualify for the PGA TOUR’s flagship event, opening the door for a short-term reunion.
Through five starts this season, Dahmen has two top-10 finishes—a T-7 at the Farmers Insurance Open and a T-9 at the Cognizant Classic—but he’s also missed two cuts, including last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational. In seven previous starts at THE PLAYERS, Dahmen has made six cuts, highlighted by a T-11 finish two years ago.
Even if it’s only temporary, something tells me Dahmen and Bonnalie are going to have a blast in Ponte Vedra this week.
