Wilson’s DynaPWR line has quietly become one of the more interesting wood families in golf, and now the brand is pushing it into true max-forgiveness territory with the new DynaPWR Max+. We've covered a lot of Wilson equipment news over the past year starting with the DynaPWR Woods Series launch last January, that line has expanded into drivers, fairways, and hybrids—some of which remain underrated in their categories.
I've covered Wilson gear a lot in the last year, thanks to the launch of their DynaPWR series of woods in 2025. This line included a full line of drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids, with the fairway woods being a very underrated club in their category.

Rather than simply adding another option, Wilson has now designed the DynaPWR Max+ as a true high-MOI driver—one built for maximum stability without the usual sacrifice in clubhead speed.

According to Wilson’s Manager of Advanced Golf R&D Jared Guttmann, the goal wasn’t just to reach 10K MOI—but to do it efficiently.
With the Max+ driver, we’ve reached 10K MOI without increasing the clubhead mass. Most, if not all, 10K heads achieve that threshold in part by increasing clubhead mass, as more mass equals more MOI. The downside to this approach is that you slow down the clubhead speed and therefore the ball speed. Our approach in designing the Max+ was incredibly efficient, and we were able to maintain high clubhead speeds and high ball speeds, while also driving 10K forgiveness.

In other words, Wilson wanted the forgiveness of a max-stability head without the swing-speed penalty that often comes with it.
To generate the desired forgiveness in the Max+, Wilson engineers started from the ground up by first tweaking the geometry to allow the club to move faster through the air. From there, they reworked the face profile and insert to save weight and increase flex over a larger area.

The result is a face insert that is both lighter (by 5 grams compared to the core MAX model) and offers 21% more face-insert control (which is another way of saying it helps improve dispersion). Those saved grams were redistributed around the perimeter and rear of the driver to boost forgiveness without adding weight that could potentially slow down swing speed.
Speaking of forgiveness, the driver also features adjusted bulge and roll specs to work alongside the face to bring missed shots more back to center. All of this, in a driver that once again offers adjustable rear weighting to promote a neutral or draw bias.

The result is a driver that is fast, forgiving, adjustable, and built for any golfer who is looking to find more distance and fairways.
We are dedicated to developing the most advanced equipment for the largest range of golfers - from tour staff and top amateurs to mid to single handicap golfers - and we are confident Max+ will help all players maximize forgiveness and stability to gain a considerable advantage off the tee.
