What The Anarch + (Plus) Has To Offer
The Anarch + is built like a little tank—this thing is no toy. It's the exact build quality you'd expect from a company also prides itself in making high quality precision optics for all kinds of applications beyond golf. I mean, when you're trying to pinpoint a target at well over 1000 yards, spotting a flagstick at 270 yards seems pretty easy.
Like the previous generation Anarch, the Anarch + is built from a magnesium chassis to keep strength up while subtly reducing weight and comes packed with customizable features including image stabilization.
The New Pinspotter + (Plus) feature is even faster than before to help ensure you're properly locked onto the target and confirms with a unit vibration.
Speaking of locking on, it also comes equipped with dual cart magnets that allow it to stick to your cart quickly and easily with a super strong grip that is also rubberized for additional traction.
This is all on top of the premium lenses that provide crystal clear optics, and waterproof construction to handle anything Mother Nature can throw at it.
My Two Cents
As someone who has used their fair share of rangefinders, I can say the Anarch + stands out in the premium category for the combination of features it offers.
Despite the magnesium chassis, it still has a reassuring amount of heft—not because it's heavy, but because it's packed with features. It's equipped with ultra-strong magnets that are located on both sides of the case, something that I've never seen before on a rangefinder. The dual magnets might sound like a small thing, but after using them, you'll wonder why every rangefinder doesn't have them.
The other aspect of the unit is the full menu, which makes it easy to toggle features on and off if needed, including slope mode, auto-brightness, and image stabilization (although I don't know why you would ever turn it off in the first place).
On the subject of auto-brightness, what I love about it is how the display will switch from a black to a red display based on the lighting; sure, some rangefinders are either black or red, but with the Anarch +, you get both in the same unit, and it does all the adjusting on its own.
As Warren Buffett once said, "Price is what you pay, value is what you get," and with the Anarch +, you get a whole lot of value, in what could easily be considered the most feature-packed rangefinder on the market.
