This Strategic Titleist Price Cut Is a Pain for Everyone Else

With aggressive price cuts, Titleist is betting big that golfers will put their GT models against newer and more expensive offerings.

Beyond the discussion around club technology, one of the biggest consumer focuses so far this year with new drivers is price, with many models touching the $650 to $700 price range. But, there is one company with a still-current driver series that just dropped down to $450 across the board: Titleist. And it could be one of the most brilliant sales tactics of 2026.

This not only prices the still-current GT driver series lower than all other brand new offerings, but a quick comparison of the competition shows that at $450, it's a lower price than many companies marked down 2025 product, too (!).

Plus, with four unique fitting options from the compact lower spin GT4, Adjustable GT3, Fast and Forgiving GT2, and Easy to Swing GT1 there is something in the line for any golfer.

Not to mention, GT fairway woods have also dropped down to $340 from $400, so there is value there to match.
