With product cycles seemingly in flux across the board for many of the biggest equipment manufacturers, it's become less surprising to see new products make mid-season debuts on the PGA Tour.
This week at the Travelers, Srixon is the newest company to launch a new product with the tour debut of their ZXi-RKT (going to make an educated guess it's pronounced rocket) driver line, featuring three distinct models to choose from.

What is Zxi-RKT?

Beyond offering up pictures, Srixon has been very quiet on the tech details of their latest drivers, but that just means I get the opportunity to make some very good guesses and find out how right I am later.
Not to toot my own horn, but I was basically bang-on last week during the U.S. Open in relation to Bryson's prototype TaylorMade driver including the reason for the 200+ name. Ok sorry, enough of the self gloating.
Anyways, what we can glean from supplied pictures is that the new line comes in 3 models (with the potential for a forth).
- A core model with dual weights
- A max with one back weight (presumably for added MOI and forgiveness)
- An LS model (for low spin) that has front and back weights
Of the supplied pictures, one of the LS models is an LS+ (above) and maybe that it just a tour part, which is something they have made in the past, or just a different sample, but either way, 3 might actually be 4.

As for technology, the pictures are pretty shy on showing any specific technology callouts, but if I was to make one educated guess, the textured areas around the sole could be an indication that Srixon is using carbon in their drivers for the first time to free up more mass, and make them even more adjustable for fittings and tuning players.
They even put together a hype video for the release today at The Travelers.
