When you've got a good thing going, the general directive across so many industries is not to screw it up. Think of the Toyota 4 Runner or the Honda CR-V, for example. They've been around for a long time, people recognize the name brand, and most importantly, they just flat out get the job done.

What I'm really talking about is how trusted and reliable products are built around slow refinement, and in the case of the new Spider Tour Torched series, along with the new ZT Max - TaylorMade is taking a very well-proven concept, refined the looks and performance, and giving golfers more of what they want.

The Spider Tour Line blends old and new, thanks to the continuation of the Spider Tour and Tour X shapes, plus the new Touve V and Tour F, all finished in a torched PVD coating. It's also one of the most complete lines TaylorMade has ever produced based on the head center of gravity locations and the hosel options.

The Spider Tour putter family represents the very best of what we do at TaylorMade. Nearly two decades of engineering, refinement and Tour feedback have gone into building this family, and this new finish brings a level of visual sophistication that matches the performance underneath it. These are putters that belong in the hands of the best players in the world, and they're proving it every week.

Just like that Toyota 4 Runner I mentioned earlier, the Tour Torched Spiders features proven technology that has now stood the test of time.

This includes the Pure Roll insert with grooves pitched at 45° to encourage optimal roll of the face, True Path alignment, and the Hybar Echo Dampener behind the face to remove unwanted vibrations and create a solid feel.
The new Spider Tour putters will be available both in-store and online, June 4 and are priced at $350 each.

Since I've already used some car analogies, let's keep it rolling. The new Spider ZT MAX is now the Yukon Denali XL of the putter world. With the core Spider ZT model already big, super stable, and easy to align, the ZT MAX is just a juiced-up version with extra refinements made to the design to account for the size, plus even more stability built-in.

With Spider ZT Max, we took the Spider ZT foundation and expanded it — literally. The head is bigger, the profile is more commanding at address, and every element of the design still serves a specific purpose. The corner weighting, the hosel geometry, the sole shaping, all of it carries over into a larger, more substantial package.

Like the core Spider putter series, the ZT MAX utilizes a (black) Pure Roll insert with grooves pitched at 45° to encourage optimal roll of the face plus True Path alignment to help golfers frame the ball and align properly.

The main difference from address (below) is that because of the obvious size difference between the Max and the standard ZT, the shaft is positioned farther back from the leading edge

Not only is the Spider ZT MAX line physically bigger, but so are the options. The Spider ZT comes in 3 distinct models in multiple variations that include:
Spider ZT Max Standard: Offered in 33", 34", and 35" lengths, in right and left-handed.
Spider ZT Max Counterbalance: Offered in 36" and 38" lengths, in right and left-handed.
Spider ZT Max Long: Offered in 46" length stock, and in right-hand only.
The new Spider ZT MAX putters will be available both in-store and online on June 4 and are priced at $450 (core model), $500 (Counterbalanced model), and the Long at $550.
