It's difficult to talk PXG without talking putters, and it's difficult to talk putters nowadays without talking about zero-torque. And, if you happen to be in the market for a zero-torque putter from PXG, they have a lot of options, with their newest coming in the form of the Mustang.
The Mustang ZT Putter builds on the success of the PXG's zero-torque putters by giving one of their more popular and unique blade putter shapes the zero-torque treatment. A key design note of the Mustang is the raised topline and shallowed-out wing bumpers on the heel and toe. These bumpers improve the putter's stability and aid in alignment.

The most important part of the Mustang ZT's design is PXG's S-hosel, which positions the shaft axis (where the line of the shaft passes through the putter head) just slightly above the center of gravity. This encourages the putter to stay square to the arch of the stroke to help eliminate variables in face angle to get more putts online more often.
This is also where I don't think PXG gets it's due in the zero-torque space, because beyond the original Odyssey Toe Up putters (don't worry, most other golfers don't remember them either), they were the first to offer a modern zero torque variant that wasn't a straight shaft into the head.
Another key design feature is a built-in 2 degrees of forward press to help golfers get into the ideal impact position at address. When paired with the PXG Slant grip that angles the grip in a neutral position off the shaft axis, it promotes a consistent putting stroke with limited manipulation. But, if you prefer a standard style grip without built-in slant, they can be installed and used without changing the dynamics of the putter.
Behind the face of the Mustang ZT, is PXG's S-Cor Polymer—a material utilized in all of the brand's Battle Ready family of putters to dramatically increase MOI by reducing the mass within the head. A secondary benefit of the S-Cor Polymer is that it allows for the putter to maintain a soft feel without the use of an insert.

Last but not least, the face has an aggressive milled pyramid pattern to promote forward roll, along with producing a crisp impact sound for more precise distance control.

The Mustang ZT putter is available now for fittings at PXG retail locations and online at PXG.com. It's available in right and left-handed and will be priced at $450.
