Since its launch, the Fujikura Ventus line of shafts has been one of the hottest products in golf, with every other shaft company trying to catch up. First, it was the original shaft line, then the TR line, the Velocore +, and now the next evolution of Ventus TR built with Velocore +.

“The new Ventus TR Blue with Velocore+ sits between Ventus Blue and Black, which makes it a great low spin option for a wide range of swings. We have seen strong results with VeloCore+ on Tour, and we expect the new Ventus TR Blue to continue that. As always, a proper fitting is important, but for golfers who want added stability and a smoother feel without losing the balance of the original TR Blue, this is a very compelling option." - TJ Spidle, Product Manager at Fujikura
The tool that helps Fujikura continue to innovate in the shaft space is their proprietary enso® 3D motion capture testing technology. By getting a detailed look at how different portions of the shaft can be tuned to deliver results, Fujikura can test how performance characteristics and materials affect the end result.
From there, they can then combine that with qualitative player testing feedback to produce the various flex and weight profiles to fit golfers across the board.
The new construction matches Fujikura’s spread tow fabric with its VeloCore+ technology to deliver maximum consistency and improved energy transfer without sacrificing the feel and stability golfers have come to expect.
The new Ventus TR Blue will be priced at $350 and be available at retail starting on January 9. It will be found at authorized Fujikura Global Charter Dealers and through select OEM custom programs.
