Can You Get Pro-Level Launch Monitor Data for Under $2,000? Foresight Says Yes.
he brand’s newest dual-camera system proves you don't need to break the bank to get tour-grade ball data at home or on the range.
Foresight Sports is well known for its camera-based launch monitors, including the popular GC Quad and GC Quad Max, which can be found on tours at every level and in club fitting studios around the world.
They are now bringing that accuracy to more golfers than ever before with the launch of their newest GC2, a dual high-speed camera launch monitor designed to deliver unmatched accuracy for under $2000 - $1700 to be precise.

With GC2 our goal is simple, we want to remove barriers that prohibit golfers from experiencing the Foresight difference, and instead give all players and coaches access to accurate, reliable data that will improve their games. From the professionals to elite amateurs, we've seen firsthand how precise data unlocks performance. The GC2 brings this to every golfer, so they can practice with confidence and turn precision into better performance on the course.

Technology & Data
This precision comes from the dual camera system that allows the CG2 to get precise images of the golf ball during and after impact to calculate how the golf ball actually flies. As Foresight's slogan for the new GC2 goes, "You didn't come this far to guess," which I have to hand it to them, is pretty darn good.
But, and this is a big one, it must be noted that the CG2 and all its accuracy is only designed to do one thing extremely well, and that is to capture ball data. If you are looking for a true teaching tool, this isn't your launch monitor, and to be honest (based on my experience as a club fitter), ball data offers everything 99% of recreational golfers need anyways.

Plus, for ease of use, the data screen is NOT touch-operated and automatically toggles between data points.
As for the stats, here are the data points:
Carry Distance
Total Distance
Ball Speed
Launch Angle
Launch Direction
Back Spin
Side Spin (Spin Axis)
Total Spin
Spin Axis
Offline
Peak Height
Descent Angle
Hang Time
As for functionability, the new GC2 can be seamlessly used inside or out, and comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB-C and ethernet connectivity so whether you're on the range, or in a simulator you can connect quickly and easily.

And, for those looking to build their own simulator setup, the new GC2 can use it as part of Foresight's popular Sim In A Box package.
Last but not least, it's also important to mention that the GC2 is the first new product launch since Foresight has introduced the Foresight + and Premier software update which offer a better simulator experience along with an updated user interface which is quick to learn and easy to customize.
Availability
The new GC2 is now available for pre-order, with pre-ordered units expected to ship to customer on October 9. They will then be found in retail stores for in-person shopping on October 12.
Purchase includes a 30-day free trial of the Foresight+ software.
