Callaway Goes Full Send With Full Toe SP Wedges

Packed with modern technology plus vintage flair, the Callaway Full Toe SP wedges deliver versatility from everywhere.

If you like to be creative around the greens and hit shots with the face in various positions, Callaway has a wedge for you with the release of the Full Toe SP lineup. What separates the new Full Toe from others currently in the line is the subtle cavity-back design paired with (as the name suggests) full-face grooves, making it a shotmaker's dream.

Full Toe SP Technology

Thanks to the expanded grooves, the wedges have 44% more grooved area than Callaway's traditional wedge designs, meaning those open-faced shots hit out towards the toe maintain higher spin rates.

Higher spin is also more easily generated thanks to two other design features: the higher toe shape along with the Spin Pocket construction that pulls mass from lower in the head to position it higher in the blade.

With the Full Toe, this is a new level for us from a CG placement standpoint. The high CG promotes extra spin. Having the grooves across the face, having that shape that really is designed to open that face is really an incredible opportunity for people that struggle around the green to have something that's new and different.

Another big standout design feature is the new J Grind (there is also a wider JW Grind available in 62°), which allows the leading wedge to sit lower to the ground on square-faced shots without reducing bounce to an unforgiving amount. But, with agressive heel and toe relief plus generous camber (roundness from the front to the back of the sole) the club can be easily manipulated and still maintain its lower leading edge.

The new Full Toe SP wedges are available now for pre-order and will be in stores starting September 4th. They will be priced at $200 each.
