I don't know about you, but the month of April has absolutely flown by. From The Masters to the recently completed Chevron Championship and everything in between, it's been a crazy month in golf and golf gear. This is why I've put together a cheat sheet to help guide you through the newest releases from many of the biggest equipment companies.

Let's dive in.

Callaway Chrome Tour Triple Diamond

In the same way, the new Chrome Tour and Tour X golf balls got faster and more consistent, so has the newest Triple Diamond release, which is designed to offer a penetrating flight, slightly firmer feel, and lower spin on full shots.

Chrome Tour Refresher

The big story of the new 2026 Chrome Tour lineup is what Callaway calls the Tour Fast Mantle.

This new mantle layer offers a 16% higher flex modulus. Flexural modulus, I've since learned, is the metric that defines material stiffness and its resistance to bending, which in turn helps the golf ball generate more speed.

“The new Chrome Tour, Chrome Tour X, and Chrome Soft Golf Balls are all designed to provide a new level of ball speed,” said Eric Loper, Callaway Sr. Director of Golf Ball R&D. “Our Tour Fast Mantle is a material that’s never been used before in a golf ball, and we’re confident that golfers will see why it can make such a big impact on their speed and distance. The consistency of this ball also truly stands out with our Seamless Tour Aero, and the control into the green is exceptional.”

The new Triple Diamond golf balls are available now and are priced at $58 a dozen.

Callway 250 .jpg

To celebrate the United States 250th birthday, Callaway created a full collection featuring clubs, balls, and accessories adorned with red, white, and blue.

The details include an eagle etched into the sole of the driver all the way to a reimagined and renamed "Free Bird" jailbird putter.

The full line of gear goes on sale May 1st, and you can find all the prices below.

Drivers: Quantum Max – $650. Quantum TD, TD Max – $700

Wedges: Opus SP – $220

Balls: Chrome Soft, Tour, Tour X – $60 / dozen. Supersoft – $28 / dozen.

Putters: Ai Dual: 1776 S, Freebird Mini DB – $380. Freebird S2S, Freebird Cruiser DB – $430

Cobra OPTM X - RealTree

This was an easy one to miss, you know, with it being camouflaged and everything (come on people - I'm trying my best here), but for this fun collab with Realtree, Cobra's second limited OPTM X driver release brings together camo and speed-driven driver tech. Just make sure you don't drop it into the bushes.

Costco - Kirkland Signature Forged Wedges

Surprise!

Costco Kirkland wedges are back again (kinda) - we just don't know exactly when they will hit warehouses. As for deatils, we expect these to once again be packaged as a set (52°, 56°, and 60°) and come in at under $200. If that is the case, these continue to be one of the best values in golf - PERIOD!

TaylorMade ShadowFall Collection

Adding some color (or at least making things blacked out) isn't new in the world of gear, but offering it up early into a product cycle is. I'm specifically talking about the Qi4D woods, since the P790s have been out since last year, but either way, this ShadowFall gear from TaylorMade is a full collection with some cool looks.

This full line includes Qi4D drivers, Qi4D core fairway wood, and P790 irons.

And in case you missed out on some other cool stuff recently, Srixon did something similar with their ZXi7 and ZXi5 MKII irons.

Now stay tuned this week because there is a LOT more great coming your way.
