It would be an understatement to call the last couple of weeks busy in the world of golf gear. We’ve gotten news on new limited edition drivers, zero torque putters, and Scotty Cameron's—plus more to stay tuned for.

Now we could break all of these down separately, but I believe it's a better idea to offer up a condensed run-through so you can separate the things you’re in the market for and the things you're not. So I’ll stop wasting your time and get right to the point.

Callaway Elyte Night Edition Drivers

If Papa John's can say “Better ingredients, Better Pizza”, Callaway can say “Same ingredients, new paint job, cool driver”, with the release of the new Night Edition drivers, which are available in the Elyte and Elyte X models.

What's inside and out

The Night Edition drivers feature an almost fully blacked out look with all the same 10X face and Thermoforged crown technology as the standard models but in a very sleek and modern package. There are available now for pre-order at CallawayGolf.com and are priced at $649.99.

If you have been looking at an Elyte driver but green isn’t your thing, now’s your chance.

Scotty Cameron Phantom Black Putters

Now speaking of clubs getting the blackout treatment, Scotty Cameron also just launched the new Phantom Black collection, which will hit store shelves this week on July 25th.

The new putter line extension of the Phantom series will include the Phantom Black 5.5 (available in right-hand and left-hand), Phantom Black 7, Phantom Black 9.2R and Phantom Black 11.

The putters feature tour preferred shapes, custom alignment aids, and just like the new Studio Style, will have chain-link face milling. Sorry, almost forget to mention the obvious—the black finish.

“With last year’s B3 Triple Black Design LTD putters, we re-introduced to dedicated golfers our Tour Black finish on some very desirable blades. This time, we focused on the mallets, notably the Phantom models we most commonly modify for tour players. With the Phantom Black 5.5, 7, 9.2R and 11 mallets, we have created four new models that incorporate specific feedback from the pros related to alignment, overall shape, neck configuration and, of course, the Tour Black finish.”

- Scotty Cameron

Phantom Black putters will be available worldwide on July 25, at select Titleist authorized golf shops, while supplies last, and will be priced at $750.
